As America's fifth largest air museum and home to 101 aircraft, the Mid-America Air Museum serves as an interactive educational resource for all visitors. The museum presents, preserves, and interprets the history of flight through its collection of aircraft and related artifacts, its exhibits, and its public programs. It strives to continue to be recognized as an outstanding aviation museum with interesting, high-quality exhibits and a major collection of well-restored, well-maintained, and well-preserved aircraft; as an outstanding destination for visitors; as a significant educational resource; and as a valued contributor to the quality of life in Southwest Kansas and the surrounding region.
